SURREY MORPHOLOGY GROUP

UNIVERSITY OF SURREY

I am a Lecturer in Linguistics in Surrey Morphology Group (SMG), a research centre based in the School of English and Languages at the University of Surrey.

My research covers a wide range of interests related to understanding linguistic diversity and the preservation and description of languages. Do date, this includes work on Eleme (Ogonoid, Niger-Congo), Gurung, Gyalsumdo, Manange, Nar-Phu (Bodic, Tibeto-Burman), Archi (Lezgic, Nakh-Daghestanian) and Nuer (West Nilotic, Nilo-Saharan).

I am an Area Editor for the journal Linguistics Vanguard. From 2009 to 2015 I was a committee member of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain (LAGB). In my role of Meetings Secretary, I was responsible for matters relating to the Annual Meeting of the Association.
